Interiors Trends for 2020

September 2019 in Paris was host to the Maison & Objet interiors show. This world-renowned exhibition attracts the best designers and buyers from all over the globe, to provide a sneak peek into next year's trends. And we are so excited for them! Here are our top picks from the show:

Exotic Treasures:

This style is all about celebrating colour, pattern and texture from far-flung places. It also highlights how special your interiors pieces can feel when they are lovingly made by specialist craftspeople, as opposed to mass produced. Here at Axminster we are known for our daring and beautiful patterned carpets, as well as still proudly weaving our carpets here in Devon. Take a look at our Woven to Order selection, which is made especially to your order!

Inspired by the architecture and colours of Latin America. The Havana Collection features clean lines and bold colours. Exclusive to John Lewis, this striking carpet is part of our Woven to Order offering.

Cosy Indulgence:

This look creates a welcoming, yet luxurious environment. With purple and gold colour themes, this is fit for a palace! Which is particularly appropriate considering we have received a Royal Warrant for services to the Royal household.

Our classic Dartmoor Plains carpets use rich, warm colours to make you feel right at home. With elegant designs and 100% wool, they also add a little touch of luxury. This product is also included in the Woven to Order range.

Back to Basics:

Forget greys, the new neutrals have a warmer, natural feel. With hints of oatmeal and linen, this trend is embracing living a more eco conscious lifestyle. Our products are made using wool, which is 100% biodegradable. Helping you to live sustainably.

Simply Natural is a beautiful and contemporary carpet with a gorgeous textured weave. Pair with splashes of olive green and mustard for a modern country home.
