Axfelt 65, with its 100% wool surface, is superior to other underlays because it uses a high proportion of quality wool from our spinning and weaving companies. Wool is easily the best fibre for underlays. If an underlay has a high proportion of jute, nylon or polypropylene it cannot compete with wool in the areas of flammability, resilience and sustained performance.
We have access to superb quality left over yarn from our weaving and tufting process which we convert at our needling plant to deliver an outstanding underlay product. The whole process is handled in house which enables us to ensure that Axfelt 65 offers the highest quality on the market.
