Axminster CarpetsNews and mediaDouble Top For Axminster An Axminster Carpets are winners of two of the most prestigious industry awards for services to independent retailers and distributors. Stewart Martin of Axminster Carpets was present to collect the award for “Services to Associated Independent Stores/Flooring One” and the “Metro Group Service Award” was received by Robin Oakes. The 165 members of AIS were invited to vote for carpet suppliers in each of five categories. These included – Product Offer; Delivery and Performance; Product Quality; Response to Quality Issues; and Communication / Sales Support and Representation. Axminster was judged overall winner. Axminster Carpets also won t he Metro Group Service Award for Excellence in the Supply and Manufacturing of Woven Carpet. Voted by 165 retail members, Axminster came out tops in a closely run contest. Robin Oakes , Sales and Marketing Director of Axminster Carpets, commented – “We are delighted to have won these two prestigious awards. We find it particularly rewarding that we have been judged by independent retailers who put courtesy, service and customer attention into practice on a daily basis and who are in the best position to recognize just how important theses attributes are.
