Axminster CarpetsNews and mediaAxminster Win Best Stand Award Axminster Carpets won the "Best Stand in Show" award at the Harrogate Floorcoverings Show 2003, for the way it attractively displayed the wide range of patterns and plain carpets that now make up the impressive Axminster Carpet Collection. The show saw the launch of the new Princetown Natural Plaid, a new concept in plaid design using traditional Berber yarns to give a softer, natural look. There were also new Honeysuckle colourings for the traditional best-selling Dartmoor Ferndown and Cotswold designs. The main emphasis was given to the new 80/20 Devonia Plains range available in 48 natural and contemporary colours marketed in association with Crown Paints. All 48 colours are divided into four colour categories, which are matched with particular paint colours from the Period Colours Collection of internationally renowned Crown Paints. Specially designed Graphic Tombola stands allowed everyone to view the Devonia Plains Range easily, ensuring a continual stream of trade visitors.
