Antique Splendour, a traditional Persian design in 2/30/s berber yarn has won the prestigious 'British Wool Quality Award' for the 'Best Traditional Woven Carpet'. The carpet is produced in a 6 x 6 construction using a combination of flecked berber yarns which were originally produced by the nomadic tribes of the Sahara.

Woven from 100% pure new wool, the subtle colours produce a striking blend of Middle Eastern and North African artistry.

Commenting on the award the judges commended Antique Splendour for being an 'elegant' carpet combining a 'contemporary look with an antique appeal'
